We home-school. I was having troubles getting math through to my 8 year old daughter. On the recommendation of a friend I bought this book. I am very glad that I did! It helped me to understand that she learns in a completely different way than I was teaching her. I think I knew that but didn't know how to get through to her. I never realized how just a simple change in philosophy could make all the difference in her learning. She is a visual learner. I am kinetic.
